The band, which is opening for Built to Spill on a string of Midwestern tour dates in May, is celebrating the release of its second album Penumbra. Distant Family will kick off Record Store Day weekend with an album release in-store performance at 6pm Thursday, April 21. Admission wristbands are available with purchase of This Life on vinyl and CD.
The performance is a record release celebration for Stigers' new album This Life. Curtis Stigers will perform an after-hours in-store set at 8pm Sunday, April 24.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Record Store Day and the return of the traditional RSD April event, and per Record Exchange tradition, we're turning it into a weekend-long celebration. On Saturday, April 23 (8am-8pm), The Record Exchange will celebrate the first single-day global Record Store Day since 2019. It's been a long time since we've rock and rolled.
